Configuring Printer Drivers Micro Focus iPrint Appliance 2 1 Administration Guide
For non-RPM distributions the LSB requires alien to be in the distribution. So what you need to know at first is how to make RPM packages. This will not be covered by this document, as there is good documentation elsewhere. Every library which is not provided with the LSB Build Environment must be statically linked by the executables in your driver package. The same you have to do with every library from which you are using interfaces which are not covered by the LSB. It is still possible to make use of them in LSB-based packages. If the resource is a service, like D-Bus, the driver should determine its availability at run-time and use it if it is available, but not fail if it is not there.
This will print the pages that show how the internal settings of the printer have been configured....
